Master watercolour technique from scratch for your interior drawings.
💦 Water is life. Watercolour is literally water with colour. To me, watercolour is life as well, it is transparent and expressive at the same time, always new, and just beautiful. Love it 💙
Many artists value watercolour higher than any other technique and say that's it is the hardest one to master. I’ll show you how easy it is by breaking down the essential concepts.
Watercolour is very special for me, it was the first "painting" technique I started learning at the age of six y.o. at the children's art school "Alexandrino" (before that, I could only put my hands on crayons, kids' pastels, and markers). It is with me my entire life: from the art school, through my 6 years at the St. Petersburg Stieglitz Art Academy, and now.
You can see some of my watercolour drawings with the hashtag #watercolourOlgaSorokina on Instagram.
In this course, I would like to share not only the secrets of this mystical technique but also my love and affection for it. I'm sure, you will feel the love and get inspiration for your own creative practice.
What we will draw in this course.
We will accomplish five interior drawings in watercolour, here they are:
1. Intro Lesson
(Where you will learn the very basics and cornerstones of watercolour technique and 1-point perspective drawing)
2. Scandinavian-Style Interior
3. Artist's Studio
4. Rococo Chair
5. "Old-School" Watercolour Technique: Bedroom Interior Drawing with a Preliminary Black & White Sketch
How long is each lesson?
Some lessons are an hour-long, some are an hour and a half. Each lesson consists of several parts, usually, 10 to 25 min long so the information will be super digestible, inspiring, and easily fit for your busy schedule. From my experience, this is the best format and my students hugely benefit from it, no matter which level they are at, beginner or advanced.
How long is the course and how long will it take me to go through the lessons?
There are 6+ hours of great and professionally-edited content (you will gain great knowledge and skills after dedicating these hours). Generally, it takes my students somewhere from 4 weeks to 2 months to deeply go through the content of the course and accomplish the drawings from it. Of cause it depends on how much time you have daily to immerse yourself in the course.

Here are a couple of examples of what your peers have achieved after taking this course. Plus, I added some photos from my live classes as the content of this online course was first presented during my live in-person workshops.
